Call To Artists
A Photography Exhibition
At the North Fork Arts Center
Greenport, NY
Every so often, a photograph stops you. You don’t choose it — it chooses you.
You linger, you lean in, and long after you’ve walked away, it stays.
IMPACT is a search for those photographs.
Not the technically perfect ones, necessarily — the unforgettable ones.
The frame that holds a moment, reveals a beauty, or tells a story you can’t quite shake.
We’re inviting you to share yours
Who's Invited?
East End Photographers of every age and skill level.
Professionals, enthusiasts, students, and anyone who loves making pictures.
What to Share
Up to three photographs
Any subject, style, or genre
Made anywhere, at any time
No entry fee
Tell Us About This Photograph
For each photograph you submit, tell us — in 100 words or fewer — about this photograph.
How Photographs Are Selected
Photographs will be reviewed through a blind jury process.
Jurors will not see your name or any identifying information.
Works will be evaluated solely on the merit of the image.
Overall impact and appeal, the ability to captivate, tell a story, capture a moment, and leave a lasting impression.
If Your Work Is Selected
Selected photographers will be asked to provide:
A framed print (assistance will be available to those in need)
Maximum outside frame dimensions: 24 × 36 inches
Black or white frame
Wire hanging system
FOR ACCEPTED ENTRIES
Delivery information will be provided to artists selected for participation upon completion of the jury process. To ensure the cohesiveness of the exhibition, we request that work be framed in simple black or white frames with neutral museum quality mats (no colors, please).
Selected artists may include a sales price for exhibited work along with information about their website, gallery representation, or online portfolio, which will be included on an adjacent card.
QR codes may be submitted and will be included on card.
Why IMPACT?
Great communities celebrate the people who help us appreciate and see the world in new ways. IMPACT exists to celebrate the photographers — their creativity, their curiosity, their dedication, their point of view, and the unique perspectives they bring to the world through their photographs.
Whether this is your first exhibition or your fiftieth, we hope you'll be part of it. We look forward to celebrating you and the photographs you choose to share.
